SuperBub's Gift is in honor and memory of our son, Braeden. Braeden was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a form of childhood cancer, on May 15, 2007, just a day before his 2nd birthday. After a 23 month battle, he left our arms for heaven on April 18, 2009. In response, we press on to make a difference for the many other families impacted by childhood cancer every year. SuperBub's Gift is our way of giving back to the hospital that gave us so much over those two years.
Every year on Braeden’s birthday, we deliver many needed items to the child life staff, Pediatric Oncology Resource Team, and patients coming for Beat Childhood Cancer clinical trails at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We encourage you to celebrate SuperHeroes and become a hero to children fighting cancer and their families! We fundraise year round to raise money to provide much needed items to the hospital and on May 16th, Braeden “SuperBub’s” birthday, we deliver them to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
If you would like to show your support, you can make a gift online now. No gift is every too small! Or, as we get closer to Braeden’s birthday, we will post specific needs from the hospital so you can purchase those items and drop them off to us to deliver. Please comment here, or message us if you would like to make pickup arrangements.
With SuperBub’s gift, we also provide “Braeden Bucks” to the hospital. Whenever a child has a “poke” at the hospital for a procedure they can pick a Poke Prize. We provide vouchers to the hospital’s ice cream shop for a free ice cream. If you would like your donation to go specifically to Braeden’s Bucks, please leave a comment here.
